First Quarter 2022 Commercial Market Report

The Houlihan Lawrence Commercial First Quarter 2022 Market Report is out! Here are the highlights:

Industrial is on fire, and doesn't look to be slowing anytime soon.

Class A Office is strong. Class B and C continue to struggle. With strict zoning codes around the County, repurposing these assets will be an uphill battle.

Retail is settling. A nice recovery has started to slow, but its allowing Landlords to benefit as they are attracting solid tenants by demonstrating flexibility in negotiations.

Multifamily keeps on chugging along. Higher single family home prices, low inventory of homes
available for sale and, higher mortgage rates, are likely to prompt many households to continue renting for the foreseeable
future.
